Lord Rama is the seventh avatar of the Hindu God Vishnu. He is the central figure of the Hindu epic Ramayana, which is the principal narration of the events connected to his incarnation on earth, his ideals and his greatness. Rama is one of the many popular deities in Hinduism, and especially of the various Vaishnava sects. Therefore reciting the Rama Moola Mantra with utmost devotion is beneficial for families for a prosperous and peaceful environment.

Mantra

ॐ श्री रामाय नमः॥

Om Shri Rāmāya namah ॥

From the perspective of making attempts for God-realisation, the first stage is worship of the Kuladevata (Family Deity). Once that is accomplished, the spiritual practice of worshipping Shriram, who is true to His word, devoted to only one wife and who strikes the target with just one arrow, is useful to many seekers for going from many to one.
Best days to initiate this mantra is on Punarvasu Nakshatra day or Chitra paksha Navami thithi days. One can chant or recite this mantra for 9, 11, 108 or 1008 times. One can use Rosary beads made out of basil or Tulsi jaap mala.
