Brihaspati Bheej Mantra
”Om Brim Brihaspataye Namah.”
बृहस्पति बीज मंत्र
ॐ बृं बृहस्पतये नम:।
In Hindu astrology, the beej mantras are called the most powerful mantras (beej means seed, for who, don’t know about it). Because from the beej, everything sprouts. Most of the Hindus only chant beej mantras, and beej mantras are for everything whether it is planet, God or Goddess.
Brihaspati Dev Mantra
Om Graam Greem Graum Sah: Gurve Namah|
Om vrim brihaspataye namah |
बृहस्पति मंत्र
ॐ ग्रां ग्रीं ग्रौं सः गुरूवे नमः ॥
ॐ बृं बृहस्पतये नम:।
To calm down the negative effects of the planet in the horoscope , one must recite the following mantra 108 times (one mala) everyday-
Brihaspati Gayatri Mantra
Om Suraachaarya Vidmahe, Surasreshtaya dhimahi, tanno guruh prachodayat |
Meaning: I praise the preceptor of the gods and I meditate upon the most venerable one among the gods, let the Guru illumine my intellect and lead me towards fulfilment.
The Gayatri mantra is chanted at sunrise, noon and sunset. At dawn it is called Gayatri, the youthful form of the Goddess, consort of Lord brahma, the creator. It is called Savitri, the mature form, at noon, the consort
of Lord Shiva. It is called Sarasvati, the elderly form, at sunset, the consort of Lord Vishnu.
Brihaspati Navagraha Mantra
Devanam ca rishinam gurun kanchana-sannibhham |
buddhi-bhutam tri-lokesham tam namami brihaspatim ||
When translated in English, it means:
“I bow down to brihaspati, god of the planet Jupiter. He is the spiritual master of all the demigods and sages. His complexion is golden, and he is full of intelligence. He is the controlling lord of all three worlds.”
Mantras must be chanted or recited with unwavering devotion and motivation. Chanting them as a matter-of-course deprives them of power and is practically useless from the point of view of conscious growth, evolution and effect.
Puranik Mantra
“Om gurave namah”
(Om, I bow down to Jupiter)
The entire chanting round can be phased out across 40 days. Especially this mantra is chanted seated in front of banana tree to get amazing results. Also, people chant this sitting in front of Ganapati Yantra.
Chanting Brihaspati Mantra is said to give several highly positive benefits to the devotees including physical and psychological well-being, self-confidence, excellence in education, success in all endeavours, promotions in the workplace, prosperity and happiness. In the Navagrahas, Brihaspati is shown to wear pitambara or yellow garb. Wearing yellow clothes is said to receive positive vibrations from the jupiter planet.
